Midnight Bike Ride: I can have oodles of charm when I want to...

I have never mentioned it before but I am a makeup artist and a huge makeup junkie...
I hoard makeup and use about 35% of all the makeup I own.
So I have taken upon myself to actually use and review some products.

Today I felt since its just about summertime I should do bronzer and blush. Bronzer is a favorite of mine for all the many face changes benefits it has... oh and of coarse to mask my pasty white skin.. hehehe.

So I chose to use Sephora's NEW bronzer Aruba $15

I really like the new bronzers, I feel they are more of a true brown instead of an orange. I enjoy this bronzer because it's not matte and does have a subtle shimmer to it. It's more pigmented than Sephora's previous bronzers, so you use less product. I would say this shade is most comparable to Nars Laguna Bronzer $33 for .28oz . For less than half the price of the Nars you get .30oz! What a steal! I love you Sephora Collection!

The brush I like to us to apply both my bronzer and blush is Sephora's Platinum Collection Bronzer Brush #48 $35. I love this brush and have had it for years! Invest in good quality brushes and they can last you a lifetime! I like this brush because it's super soft and dense, I feel it deposits the color evenly and grabs a lot of color so theres no need to keep applying more to the brush.

The way I like to apply is starting at the top of my forehead going under my cheekbones then to my jawline and back the other way, think E & a 3.. and of coarse just dusting down the whole face so I evenly distribute bronze everywhere.

The Blush I am reviewing is Tarte's new Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface $25. Not only is this blush a beautiful color it has good for you benefits too. Amazonian clay is nutrient rich (it comes from the end of the amazon river), it acutally helps balance out your skin..so if you're too oily it helps control oils and if you're dry all those good for you minerals hydrate and restore moisture... If that already sounded too good to be true it claims to have a 12 hour wear! Woo Hoo! If you're like me and hate touching up this is the blush for you. It's HIGHLY pigmented and really does stay on all day! I like this color it looks as though it would be outrageously pink but its pretty subtle and natural, I think I could even go for the color Amused thats even pinker! <3 Love this blush!

I apply blush by just directly placing on the apples of the the cheeks and slightly brushing upwards. (apples of the cheeks are the chubbiest part of the cheeks when you smile)
