Good Intentions

So it's been quite the month and I realized I never made any "resolutions", actually I hate resolutions, they just are something people do to make them feel better about what they didn't achieve the year before... I hate the word and I hate the concept of starting fresh the new year... yes, I do feel it is nice to get off to a fresh start, but I feel people put too much pressure on achieving these unrealistic "Resolutions" and beat the crap out of themselves doing so....
So I compiled a list of attainable things that I know I can work hard to accomplish. They are realistic and really are solely based upon my life not for anyone else. Things to make me grow as a person physically, mentally, spiritually and everything in between. Sooo here's the list of GOOD INTENTIONS for 2011! Enjoy!

Create

I have been inspired by Miss Elsie from A Beautiful Mess to start creating this year, what has inspired me is her and Rachel (Smile and Wave) have created this brilliant concept of restyling clothes, home decor, shoes, etc etc into something wearable or generally more appealing, I decieded to get on the bandwagon and try something out. I saw a couple of lovelys on her site actually do the glitter shoes, I have been dying for a pair and couldn't see myself paying 20 +++ dollars on something that seemed so easy to make... so here is what I made. I'm quite proud, still trying to figure out a great outfit to wear them with! <3 thanks for the inspiration!

This is only the beginning!!!!! <3 tis the year of creating

The whole world is a single flower

First day of Bikram Yoga... I was super nervous but ended up enjoying it so much. It is completely *well not completely* but a different style than traditional yoga. There is no down dog or childs pose, its just a flow and hold and repeat. I liked it so much. I can't wait to go back tomorrow.

I went and saw one of my oldest and bestest friends today. We went and saw TRUE GRIT... well, I mean she saw True Grit, I fell asleep throughout the movie... I'm blaming it on the total relaxation and hard work from the mornings yoga.

I have been working on a few new projects lately, mostly embroidery and putting the site together. Hopefully I can dedicate some real quality relaxing time into it. Between working and sleeping I feel like there is never enough hours in the day for all the things I want to do. It's like where do I fit in reading books and collaging and yoga and friends.... I need to really organize my time.

I need to hit the hay, I am exhausted!
